Bread with fish meat

For 4 People

  1. In a small container, combine 1.5 deciliters of lukewarm water, yeast, sugar and 1 medium spoon of flour. Mix and leave in a warm place to come.

  1. Half of the flour is poured into a suitable container, the yeast is added, salt, oregano, remaining water are added and everything is mixed well. Then gradually add the remaining flour and knead by hand until the dough starts to separate from the fingers.
  2. Gradually add half of the olive oil to the pressed dough and knead until the dough absorbs the fat.
  3. A cake is formed from dough, coated with olive oil, covered and left in warm place to rise.
  4. Tuna fish meat is drained of excess fat, while the onion is cleaned and finely chopped.
  5. In a small container, combine pit tuna and red onion, add mixed spices according to the recipe and mix
  6. From the resulting dough, with oiled hands, from ellipse-shaped breads. The edges of the dough are coated with olive oil, while the tuna filling is placed in the middle.
  7. Place baking paper on the pan, arrange them in it the breads prepared and baked, until they are fried, in the preheated oven at 220 degrees C.

 

Additional tip:

The prepared breads are left to remain in the pan for another 15 minutes, in order for the dough to rise further.
